The Tammy Hatch Band
TAMMY HATCH, Guitar & Vocals
Formed her own band after spending several years playing
Bass Guitar, Singing, and sharing the stage with James Peterson, filling in as a Bass Player for his son, Lucky Peterson.
During that time, Tammy booked and managed James Peterson's band. She also played with the Tampa Bay's Women's Blues Revue,
Blind Willie James, and Diamond Teeth Mary. Currently working on (and soon to be released) her THIRD CD with Blues and R&B. Tammy
has a unique style, many times compared to Janis Joplin/Tina Turner, with a Bonnie Raitt "flavor" to her lead and slide
guitar playing. Tammy recently opened for and was invited to sing with E.C. Scott. She performs on occasions with T C Carr,
Sandy Atkinson and Ed Wright. Previously, she leaned toward mostly Country, working with Lakeland's Showman Band (Johnny
& Bernice Thompson) and the Carl Chambers band, opening for such artists as Charlie Daniels, Glen Campbell, Billy Crash
Craddock, Mel McDaniels and Melanie, just to mention a few. She is also a top notch songwriter and her first CD of Original
songs was recorded and produced in 1996 by long time friend Carl Chambers, (Close Enough To Perfect, recorded by Alabama)
